Salamanca, Spain

Hello All. I will be studying in Salamanca, Spain for four months. I am leaving the USA at the end of August and I'll be leaving Spain in the middle of December, but will be traveling throughout Europe for another month. For that last month I will be with my boyfriend, but seeing as I've never been out of the USA before I'm a bit nervous. So first of all, is anyone knowledgeable about Salamanca? And second, for those of you who are familiar with Europe please send some pointers my way. Steve has friends in Paris so we'll be stopping there for a bit, but we'd also love to hit up some of the following: England, Ireland, Austria, Amsterdam, Italy (Rome and Florence), and Greece. I already have trips planned to Morocco and Portugal during my academic semester. Thanks for your help! I really appreciate any insight you can share.

Hello,

I visited Salamanca 20 years ago so I do not remember it that well (excepted for the old town that was nice), especially since it was a trip including several cities. While you are there, do a trip to Sevilla which is really a beautiful city

I am not sure what information you are looking for. If it is about restaurants/pubs in London, Paris etc I can help

Morocco: be ready to discuss about the prices, including with the taxis. Take tablets against upset stomach.

Coming from the US, be sure to have power plug adaptors etc since it is usually 220-240V/50Hz in Europe. The socket is usually the same but they can be different (like in the UK and also in some old houses in Italy per example).
