Things to do in Singapore??

My husband is arriving in Singapore in a couple of days onboard a U.S. Aircraft carrier. I was wondering what all he should look into seeing and doing while he is there and how expensive is it? I have to set aside his funds so any info would be greatly appreciated. he is due there in 3 days so speediness is also greatly appreciated..
