You cant really be guaranteed good weather here but I would probably say July or August they are the warmer months but no guarantee of sun.

I have always wanted to go to Scotland, I would love to travel around Loch Ness and as Dharmadoodle says look out for the monster.
I have a few friends here in Spain that have studied in Edinburgh and they say the night life is great but they were students then (young, free and single). Why not get married in Gretna Green ?
