Our Bargain boxer

So Im still new here but i would love ot tell you about our two rescued boxers! We found Tyson at the Placer spca. After much research and trouble finding a puppy in the area we began contacting some of the local boxer rescues. One of the rescuers told us that she was having surgery soon and had directed a young man to take a male boxer to the spca. We went that very same day and with anticipation found him in one of the tiny and cold kennels. He looked terrible and at first I thought we had amde a huge mistake! As I began to read the papers,Matt filled out the papers to take him outside. I soon learned that this dog had demidex and that was the cause of his balding! We took the young dog out to play and instantly fell in love! Three weeks later we were the proud parents of a fawn male boxer for the bargain price of ten dollars!! The SPCA had deemed tyson "Special needs" which ment ugly and gave him to us for the price of his microchip! The vet gave us a treatment called ivemectin and a special shampoo, we also put him on a high protein diet, and in just a month and a half Tyson has grown most of his hair back! His little sister was the solution to his separation anxiety! We found Ali by accident ans while she was not nearly as cheap as Tyson I feel like we rescued her as well!! She came from a house with no grass and enclosure that was aproximately 5ft by 5ft that housed 3 large boxers and 3 chiuahahs! It is a wonder she wasn't trampled to death! These two angels keep us on our toes but have kidney beaned their way into our hearts!

How kind of you to open your home to two boxers in need. Having two boxers is so much fun, because they do that silly, jumpy, crazy play with each other. Aren't those bargain boxers just the best!

How wonderful of you to do this and see the gentle love inside this little Tyson.
After having a rescue and realizing they seem to be so much more thankful and clingy :-)...this little one of yours will never forget the kindness and how much you 'believed' in him.
Good for you...
kisses to Tyson and Ali
