Thumbs up Rescue Update

A quick update. I last gave a rather lengthy rescue report on a little white girl. She is deaf which brings a few additional problems to the plate but she is a true boxer in every way. She has now made her (new) home with my daughter for a couple weeks and they can't be more happy with her than if she were twins. She managed within seconds of arriving home to worm her way into the heart of my daughters boyfriend (pet lover but not too versed on dogs in general, let alone the special ways of the boxer). When he comes home from work she greets him with such enthusiasm and true affection he can't but love her. In the few weeks she has been there, she has been to a boxer vet. and although underweight, has checked out just fine. They are have found an obedience trainer who specialized in special needs pets and the bond is ever strengthening. The were in town this last weekend to visit and she is just marvelous. Has to work on her guest manners some but will do just fine. My daughter says she must know where everyone of her "new pack" is at all times and is not happy when restricted from rooms she cannot enter in case someone is missing may be trapped there. I do believe it is because she has had so many home in her short time on this planet and is easily upset if someone is not accounted for. Hopefully this will subside as she realizes this is her home for the duration this time not just another stopping point on what must have seemed a never ending shuffle. We all welcome her in our world and a grand little girl she is. We hope to have her with us for many good healthy years but of course, with the sketchy past, and her obvious underweight condition, proper (or improper) feeding as a growing puppy could be a factor in her later health. Regardless...she is our now and anyone who tries to hurt this little doll will have the wrath of the Vikings on thier tales!!!!! Will post some pics when I figure out how to scan and save properly. Anyone know how to scan/save in jpg ???????

PS. my bruser boy had a wonderful time with (at last) someone his own size (sort of) and some good boxer romps. I'm sure he misses her and will welcome her back asap.

Great story

I Love Happy Endings Good luck with the little girl. Keep us posted on how she's doing. Our recently adopted little girl
Penny has been a joy to have around. She was very thin when we brought her home. Now she is Happy and Healthy and can
jump like a kangaroo.
