The little guy looks really cute, and I liked the markings - not too much white. However, I wasn't sure about the topline (could be how the pup was stacked), and it didn't seem to have much rear angulation.
My 2 cents worth - but, I am not an expert.

No expertise here either.
Everytime I watch a dog show I always choose the boxer to win & then I get mad if they don't I think I am just a little biased!
Your pup is gorgeous

I would have to agree with everyone that he is definately a cutie!! I am definately not an expert, but I would also agree with Kerry Jane in that he seems to lack rear angulation, topline could be due to the positioning he was put in. He also doesn't seem to have much of an arched neck.

But, with all that said, he is only 7 weeks old yet. I am not a breeder, but from what I've learned, a "pick" puppy at 7 weeks may not turn out to be the "pick" puppy after some more growing??

I am told by the breeder that has started mentoring me that you really can't tell until they are more mature. She doesn't ussually sell puppies as true show prospects until at least 4 months. Most people say 8 weeks tends to give you a good idea though. I agree with the above statements but the picture isn't at a decent angle and the puppy isn't used to being stacked. Maybe when you get a better stacked picture we can comment better. Anyway, good luck with your little one.

He sure is a cute pup. Sorry, I don't know a lot about show prospects. I saw Apollo in your gallery though. Did you get him from a guy named Jim? I was just wondering because that is the registered name of our new baby girl's "grandfather" and I think she's going to look a lot like him.

Smile to gtntuf

Yes I did and have had contact with everyone whom he owned & the breeders. He has to be the sweetest dog I have ever been around.
We wouldnt trade him for anything. your new baby is beautiful I hope she is as sweet as her grand dad. What side of the family was apollo? (sire or dam)
Apollo's Reg name is "Atlantis' Apollo of Mayhem"

Our puppy's dam was sired by Apollo. Her name is Abigail. She's a very sweet and nice girl and she's a super mother. We're hoping Trinity turns out to have the same temperament. I just thought it was a pretty neat coincidence finding Apollo's owner here. He's a very handsome guy.
