Question Where to find local dog shows

I want to attend a dog show in Ontario or Michigan. How do I find out where and when they are?

There is a listing by US state here:
www.infodog.com/showinfo/state.htm

And a listing by Canadian province here:

Thanks, that helped a lot. There is one this weekend about 2 1/2 hours away. We probably won't be able to go because we have no one to watch Abby.

Smile dog shows

I'll have to check that out too. I'd LOVE to just go and watch one.

I have a question, and I feel a little silly about it! I want to go to a dog show and looked on infodog for show. I didnt see any shows by boxer clubs only by other breeds. Now thinking about it, wont there be a working class at shows put on by other clubs? For example: American Whippet Club, Inc. - Friday April 01, 2005
Will there be boxers there or is this a whippet specialty show only?
I admit that I am confused Help

In general if it is put on by a breed club it is a specialty. If it is put on by a kennel club it is an all breed.

The second column of the Infodog state listing tells you what kind of show it is. For anything that doesn't have "Boxer" in the Club name, you want to see "AB" in that second column - which indicate an all-breed show. The American Whippet Club entries have "SWPC" (Sweepstakes Parent Club) and "PS/JSHW" (Parent Specialty/Junior Showmanship), so they will not have Boxer classes there.

You may need to look at neighboring states, as well.
