American Boxer Club National Show
It is show time!
The American Boxer Club National is next week. (May 2-8th) It will be held in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. Many of the best of North America, will be there. That is the ones that can get there. Those of us on the West Coast are at a major disadvantage, because of the distance. I can't believe I am driving. But, I usually don't take dogs and have flown (without dogs) in the past.
There are 657 Boxers entered with a total entry of 912. There will be obedience, Futurity, Conformation, Top Twenty and end the week with the Best of Breed competition.
I have three of mine entered. My Striker is in the very special Top Twenty of US Show Boxers and in the Best of Breed Competition. My old girl, Keebler is entered in the Veteran Class and the youngest in my household is Christy, is in the 9-12 month puppy class and 9-12 Futurity.
I am looking forward to the Health Report meeting. Hopefully, there will be some promising updates on all of the various research projects that are ongoing. The American Boxer Club and Charitable Trust contribute to many different research projects for the health of the Boxer.
