Eukanuba National Champion show
I am kind of sad that the boxer did not win but she did come in second after a porteguese water dog. Her name was Monroe after Marilyn Monroe, such a beautiful dog. Anyone else see her?

I saw her!! I was freaking out i wanted her to win so bad!! She was #1 on the online poll until another dog pulled through right at the end.

Of course I watched it! I was screaming and cheering for Monroe!!! She is absoutely georgeous!
You know the breeders/owners live about 10 miles away from me?! I contacted them when I was searching for a puppy (about 2 years ago). They didn't have a litter at the time. So, whenever I see Monroe or the owner/breeder, I cheer them on! I get stupidly excited. Like I've won the lottery or something.

She's a very nice dog. Nicole, if you want to see her in person she's at the Boston shows this weekend (at least she was yesterday when she won the working group). I didn't stay for Best in Show, but she could have won that, too!
It's a drive from Maine, but it's a fun show, and the weather will be nice. The show site is right near the JFK library, so you could make an educational day of it if you had to justify it! Lots of good vendor shopping, too (bring your pocketbook). Boxers are on early -- sweepstakes at 8, followed by the regular judging. Best of Breed (where Monroe would make her first appearance of the day) would be probably at noon or after, depending. Lots of other nice dogs there, too!
