Exclamation Dirty Pictures

So i took Achilles to a dog park...
He loved it and i have to admit that i had a good time as well.
Achilles suprisingly played nice with the other dogs no rough housing or tackling. He followed 2 boarder collies around for about 2 hours, chasing them while they chased a ball. Each one of the boarder collies corrected him and achilles knew to back off. He played with a huge/over weight pit-mix and seemed a lil nervous when the dog ran up to fast, he would quickly drop down into submission. Then about after 3 hours at the park a 15week german shepard shows up hyper as achilles usually is and they ran around together but achilles was already drained.
Another positive part was that achilles finally met a kid (<4), im happy it finally happen cause he was rreally scared and freaked out by here. I would tell him its alright and make him sit so she could pet him.
Achilles is still shy of other people though, i thought we were over that already.

As for the dirty parts... The back section of the park was flooded by a broken sprinkler.

Right after he decides to plop down in the mud and right before he does an army crawl.

It was somewhat embarassing having the only dog playing in the mud until achilles got one of the "TRAINED" boarder collies to follow; the owner was not happy.

Leather seats so it wont be too hard to clean, but yes he had to get in the car like that.

ahhh dirty dog!! glad to hear you guys had a good time and Achilles did well. our area has some really irresponsible owners, so i've always shied away from dog parks. really stinks because it would sure help my girl burn off some of that crazy puppy energy!

Well the park i went to wasn't that great, it had poop everywhere and some lady showed up with a 8week old german shepard mix thinking it was a full blood. I wanted to educate her but she seemed set in her ways so all i could do was feel bad for the puppy. Some kids where feeding treats to all the dogs without asking.

It looks like he had a great time I once had to put Monty in the car and drive him home after he had rolled in dead rabbit - eeewwwwww I had all the windows down, but the stench was horrific and all I wanted to do was throw up
