Life with Linus
After an early morning hike:

Walking with our bestfriends Boxer in Cape May wish we could have taken our pup. One dog rule  DSC01435 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Sleepy after a long walk: 6mos2 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Friends of ours stayed at our place with him for the week while we were away and when we came back we thought he looked a lot thinner than before we left. We weighed him not too long ago and he was at 49lbs. Just wondering if this is small for 6 mos. His paws were so big as a puppy he would trip over them. we thought he was gonna be a big guy but I guess time will tell.

Such a handsome boy! I know my first girl weighed that at 6 mo's. I remember because I took her in to get spayed. They gave me an estimatewith her weight at 50lbs, and it was actually a few $'s less because she lost 1.5 lbsright before the procedure and required less anesthesia. She was a 70lb girl. At 6 mo's they still have a lot of growing to do! And they all do it at different rates.

Yeah Ive heard they all grow at different rates and go through "growth spurts". I guess the whole "what they weigh at 6 mos is 75% of what they will weigh at adulthood".. which would only be about 65 lbs is what got me thinking.
I'll love him no matter what though

linus is looking good as usual! like the others said, weight varies so much from each individual dog, especially at that age. my girl is a tiny thing (i think) at 5 months, but so was my boy and he grew into a 93 pound dog!
