Thanks, they are great! Working line boxers are soo different, I have always had american showlines. I actually cannot take credit for Allure's name, I just got her a few weeks ago. Lucid is Lucid because her regeistered name is Absinthe and it was a little bit of a tounge twister on the field, so named her after a brand of Absinthe. They are a handful, they decided to follow each other into heat, driving my gsd dog nuts!

Beautiful. Both of them. How are they different than American show lines?

It is hard to explain, wouldn't say they were better pets but definately more fun to work with. I do Schutzhund with them, they have much higher drive and much more willing to learn. Much different build, smaller, much stronger. I can train with a toy or play rather then cookies all the time. They don't have that prickley coat that gives you slivers, a lot softer and a little longer. I have had to American showline boxers and they were sweet hearts but always were not nearly as fun to train. These ones are very pushy, which I like. I love the elegance of the American show but also love the "sporty look" of the german ones. Allure is actually German show and working lines, where Lucid is pure working lines. They are related a few generations back but you can definately see different body structures.
