I'm attempting my own boxer pumpkin later this week. Question is, how do you scrape the pumpkin? I read that it peels off after you punch holes but I'm not sure. Thanks! Awesome pumpkins btw.

Two years ago I did a spider man pumpkin that was very intricate. Took me over two hours to carve it. I just used a regular steak knife and it worked great. You will get the groove of it. Can't wait to see pictures.

We are having a big pumpkin carving party next week where the real pumpkins will be carved and will make caramel apples and have a nice fire in the backyard.......FUN!!!!!!

Anyway thanks everyone for the nice comments........I used a craft pumpkin (thanks Holden's Mom for the great idea) so that I would have a boxer pumpkin every year without any more hard labor.
Still looking forward to seeing others pictures if and when you carve some boxer pumpkins.
Sounds like you just live and love life to the fullest!! And it also sounds like a beautiful spot to live.
