They grow so fast!
After the weekend I think he was going through a slight bought of separation anxiety as he wasn't eating much, was whining (and eventually screaming) when we weren't right next to him, and when he started to lose his "puppy belly" I got concerned. We were transitioning him off of the food the breeder was using (only available at shows) to Wellness and he seemed to be liking it less and less. After a few phone calls with the breeder we decided to try adding a bit of canned food to the mix as well. The same day I started that, the nieces and nephews came over to meet him. They played and played and I'm not sure who wore out who, but it was the first time I saw him fall asleep while sitting down. He fell over and slept nearly the entire night through. He woke up the next morning and cleaned his bowl! Over the last day or so he's still being a bit finicky with the food, but once it's sat there for 5min. he goes to town and eats a solid 1/2 cup at a time. His lines got slender pretty quick, but I think he's just growing up before our eyes. These are pics from yesterday evening.
