Biscuit Recipes
This is GREAT...Thank you. I am always trying to find recipes to make treats for my dog. I try to keep them low cal. She loves carrots, grapes, apples, oranges, green beans etc. There are enough recipes on that site I am sure to find one that isn't too fattening and she will like.

Heather - Thanks for the grape warning!! I would have never thought! I'm just now trying out different things for Kobe, he had his first egg in his kibble this morning and ate it up!

I am a new proud mother of our first boxer. I really don't know what kind of extra food to feed my baby. I 'm wondering if eggs are good for them ( raw or cooked). Also any other kind of hints would help him and I know that he will love to hear from anyone. Thanks again

Thank you soooo much!
I love to make treats at home for Harlan. My husband wishes I would do the same for him.

Biscuit Recipes
I have been making biscuits for my 3 fur babies for at least 6 months now. I have found a wonderful cookbook that is called, "Gourmet Dog Biscuits for Your Bread Machine" and I have made about half of them in there and I have thoroughly enjoyed providing good, nutritious treats for my babies. I have also started providing them for my dog trainer and she uses them for her dogs and she is so happy to have them. I also take the recipes and modify them to my babies tastes, if they like more peanut butter, then I will add it. Here is a link to the book on amazon.com, so that you be able to see what it is like.

Kneading dough
You put all the ingredients in the bread machine on the dough setting and then you have to roll it out and cut it out, there is no kneading on your part, but the rolling could still bother you some. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask!!
Enjoy!!

Debbie, what you said about them sitting in front of the door waiting for the biscuits to come out of the oven, Sergeant doesn't quite do that, instead, he keeps coming up to me and looking toward the kitchen , as if to say aren't they ready yet?
He also knows when I have finished cutting them out in the dog-bone shapes that I glaze them with a beaten egg & milk, he will be 'asleep', or so I think, I mix up the egg & milk and before I can start glazing the biscuits he is sitting at the edge of the kitchen floor waiting for the rest of the mixture!
There is always a small bit of biscuit mixture that is not large enough for the cutter, I just shape them into oblong pieces, Sergeant knows that when they are cool enough he will get one.
