Underweight Dog - Looking for some Recipes

My neighbor has a doberman pincher. He rescued this beautiful dog. It was starved and abused. He has been to the vet and is doing things to get him healthy. Weight is a big issue, especially in the winter, he is still very skinny and underweight. I told him I would check with peeps on my bw site to see if anyone has some suggestions and recipes. I just printed out the satin balls recipe to give him to try. I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Honestly unless the dog is severely emaciated, I wouldn't suggest the satin balls. The best way to put on weight is slowly. Does your friend know what the dog is supposed to weigh? Do you know what they are feeding?
