I stuff with small pieces of beef heart, or chicken, ground turkey or pork.

A Kong stuffed with kibble mixed with banana and plain yogurt, frozen overnight, will keep a puppy busy for quite a while.

In my experience, if the banana amount is small, no. When Oscar was a puppy, he got a whole banana by accident, skin and all, threw up the skin and had the runs for a day.
I limited him to no more than 1/3 - 1/2 a banana per day, given with other food, and he had no problems.

Tyson likes his stuffed with raw meat, & organs. He also likes banana and peanut butter, cream cheese and peanut butter, and small bits of apples and peanut butter. And also a small bit of pumpkin mixed in with other stuff.

how do you clean the kong out if the puppy doesn't eat all the goodies in there?

If there is food stuck in the bottom, I push it out with a chopstick, rinse the knog with hot water and put it in the dishwasher, regular cycle.
