Frozen Recipes

I was at the vet today and my puppy has bronchitis. She recommended giving her some ice cubes to help soothe. But my girl doesn't seem to like ice cubes.

Any recommendations for frozen tasty treats? I was think of freezing yogurt, is that okay?

I bet that you can freeze anything that you could normally give her--even down to meat (and broth or water) or sweet potatoes in ice cube trays. But yeah, I think plain yogurt or cottage cheese would taste the best.

You could also add peanut butter and/or banana to the plain yogurt and freeze.

I don't know if I'd be right or not, but if she is coughing some, would yogurt be good? I mean with humans, you should avoid dairy due to mucous. Would that be the same with our babies? I know Tyson loves bananas and peanut butter frozen. Just a side note. Like I said, don't know if I'm right or not.

Bella loves ice cubes but we also mix it up a little by adding chicken broth to the water. You can put in treats, carrots, apples and even peanut butter so that she has a reason to continue to lick at it.

I've given Austin frozen chicken broth cubes, and he loved them.
