bad gas in my boy

for some reason today my boxer boy whos 17 months around, has horrible gas, anyone have a recipe to help settle his tummy a little??

a spoon full of malox in the morning and one in the evening. this is what my vet told us when Daphne gets really bad gas caused by her dog food.

mrloki-Are you feeding a quality dog food if you aren't feeding raw or homecooked. Check dogfoodanalysis.com if you haven't already. Since switching Molly to a high quality dog food and a teaspoon of yogurt with probotics she hardly has any stinky gas or upset stomach.

oh my goodness, i had forgotten i had even posted this....so heres my crazy story...
last week when i posted this, my dog had horrible gas in his tummy, come to find out he had eaten a kitchn rag - about the size of a washcloth! He pooped it out on tuesday - ate it on sunday night...it had been used to soak up the blood from a roast, and i have no idea how he got it as we always watch him like a hawk as we know he likes to mooch! So he had gas and diarrhea until tuesday and then he was fine wed and thurs. Fri night he comes home from the dog park and he has diarrhea again, so he goes to the vets as there is no reason for upset stomach...come to find out this time that he was the 5th dog in with diarrhea thast day as there had been a bug going around the local dog park, so i guess its like kids at nursery school and they just pass everything around!!! lol
so that was my crazy week - now my boy is fine and as happy and wiggly and sloppy, licking me as he usually does! lol

Wow.. I didnt know dogs could get a bug from a dog park.. lol.. glad hes doing better...
