Talking Upcoming Birthday

Hi boxer lovers, thanks for the great recipe. My baby boy will be turning one on Monday August 6.
Look forward to celebrating his first birthday with our other boxer girl, two poodles that we are currenlty fostering and last but not least our 6month old kitty. Will make cake and party hats for all and post pics soon after. Will let you know how they like it. I love this website and all the people here are great.

I just made this cake too for Xena's first birthday. I made it into cupcakes instead because I didn't want too much. Only 2 dogs were at the party!

It turned out really good! I had to use beef baby food - couldn't find liver anywhere! One thing I changed though was the frosting - I just whipped together about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and 2 tablespoons of plain lowfat yogurt and it turned out with a nice frosting-like consistency. The dogs LOVED it and licked the tops of their cupcakes clean before chowing down.

(I kind of liked it too, I bet it would be good on toast!)

Thanks for the great (easy) recipe!!

Oscar just had a birthday last week and I made this for him. He loved it.
It ended up looking and smelling like a loaf of bread.

A Big Hit!

I made the Bow Wow cake for Binx's birthday today and he looooved it.

We also had class tonight and we brought treat bags for the class (are we strange or what???) and all the dogs really enjoyed it.

My husband thinks I've totally flipped (since I don't even bake for the family) but then I told him about our neighbor that spent $20 on her dog's cake from a local pet "boutique"! He just shakes his head.....

I made the cake for my Trinity's 2nd birthday. She loved it. Thanks for the recipe. I sliced it for her, but she wouldn't eat it. I crumbled it up and she ate it up. She is just a little bit spoiled. Our dog Shrek also liked it. We were going to share with some family dog cousins, but my two babies ate it all.
