Strawberry Jelly/Jam???

I'm looking at making my own strawberry Jam. Anyone have a good recipe? I would also like to use splenda, anyone ever do this with the jam? Thanks!!!

I don't know if you can get this where you are, but I buy packages (Knorr?) to make freezer jam. It is very easy and delicious. The jam isn't as sticky and should work well with Splenda. You do have to keep it in the fridge /freezer though, but it lasts about 6 months. I also make a few runnier batches and serve it on pancakes or waffles. YUM! So far, I have made freezer jam with strawberries, rasberries, blueberies, blackberries, saskatoons, huckleberries and peaches. My favorites are berry combos.

Oddly enough, as much as I cook and having made jam a lot when I was a kid, we didn't have any favored recipes - I think we used to use the Knox Gelatin recipes that were included. However, below is a link that you should find very useful in helping you make the particular type of jam you want to do since it's all about making lower sugar jams. I've been adding less sugar to preserves, cakes and cookies for years because I don't like how sweet most recipes are - a lot of sugar sometimes just overpowers other good flavors.
