Finger foods w/ won tons

These are a hit at any party! Thought I'd share!

Both are used with Won-Ton wrappers

1) Crab Rangoons

Ingredients:
~1 Pkg. (1 lb.) Imitation or real crab meat (depending on pref.)
~1 eight oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened)
~2 green onions, chopped
~ 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
~ 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
~1/2 tsp. soy sauce
~ 1 pkg. won ton skins
~ veg. oil (for frying)

Directions:
~In med. mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except won ton skins and oil.
~ mix well until thoroughly combined
~Place 1 tsp. filling in center of each won ton skin.
~ Moistsen edges with water.
~fold each skin in half to form a triangle; press edges to seal. Pull bottom corners of triangle down and overlap slightly. Moisten one corner w/ water to press and seal with the other corner.
~ Heat oil to 375 deg.
~Deep fry several at a time.

2) Italian Sausage WonTons

Ingredients:
~ 1 lb. ground italian sausage
~ 1 1/2 C. Monterey jack cheese, shredded
~ 1 1/2 C. chili peppers, chopped
~ 2 tbsp. sliced black olives
~ 1 C. Ranch dressing

Supplies
Muffin Tins lined w/ cupcake papers

Directions:
~ Place won-ton wrapper in each lined muffin tin, press with fingers to form wonton to muffin shape.
~brush each lightly with oil
~Bake at 350 deg. for 5 min.

preparation for sausage mix:
~Brown and drain sausage
~combine w/ remaining ingredients (except wrappers and oil)

Next.......
~Fill muffin cups w/ sausage mix and bake 5-6 min. until cheese melts

I'll have to try this one for sure. I just LOVE Crab Rangoons!
