Re: Hot tea
I love tea no sugar and only a small dash of milk for me.
I like it very strong (leave the tea bag in until you can almost stand your spoon up in it) but not black and must admit I make it for others as I like it and they usually say it's far too strong
I quite like Earl Grey but only occasionally as I find it too flowery as well Karen.
I also love peppermint tea with the tea bag left in the cup for fuller flavour.
Gonna go and have one now actually
I also love chinese tea when we're eating out, yum!

Your right! I've only just graduated to loose leaf tea, it has so much more flavour, more economical and if you hit the web there's so much more choice.

Re: Hot tea
I like peppermint tea and green tea but I mostly just drink regular Red Rose black tea. Everyonce in a while I will have a cup of fruity tea but mostly stick to regular, no matter what type, has to have a bit of sugar and milk. I don't really notice a difference in taste in stuff like that, like I could care less if I am drinking Folgers or Starbucks coffee, I am not a drink snob at all

Re: Hot tea
DH and I used to be huge coffee drinkers but are now totally into tea. I love Earl Grey, Lady Earl Grey, Tetley Green Tea and Peppermint (my after dinner tea) all with no sugar or milk - straight up. I also like fruity herbal teas. DH loves his mixture of Orange Pekoe and Earl Grey, he even got my SIL and Dad hooked too. 10 cups water, 3 OP and 1 EG he uses milk and too much sugar . I tried the Vanilla Earl Grey - that stuff is nasty.

Re: Hot tea
DH loves his combo's-double Dilmah teabags,no milk and the bags left in the cup,or 1 Dilmah teabag, and 1 green teabag.
I like my Dilmah with a splash of milk,or Lipton's green tea with mint,or Lipton's
peppermint.

Re: Hot tea
I used to make a cup of peppermint tea for my daughter when she was a baby. I used to make a cup then take half a teaspoon & put that into her full bottle of boiled water, cool it in the fridge then give when wanted. The peppermint helps to bring up wind, & my baby went through that baby trapped wind stage.

Re: Hot tea
I like Lipton tea hot. I just let it soak for a good 15/20 minutes, nothing in it except with lemon in a blue moon. DW has stopped drinking coffee for tea. She likes Earl Grey and Vanilla Chai the most with sugar and a splash of milk, sometimes she'll use honey but that's usually with the Lipton.

Re: Hot tea
I really like hot tea, but don't drink it every day like a lot of friends do. My friend Kenna lived in London and I asked her to fix me a cup the way she learned there.. It was delicious. I can't remember the name of the tea, but it comes it a triangle shaped tea bag..

Aha! I really like the tea, my friend gave me some to bring home, I may have to go make myself some right now.
