Wink German meets Mexican

I love German food being from Germany only 200 years ago and i love Mexican food just cause it's soo good. So I created this super combo.

Take red cabbage and onions and cook till soft with a sprinkle of cayanne pepper and butter. Then poor that out of the skillet and put some fresh butter in and take a tortilla shell and fry it till it bubbles, then flip it and salt it and ad the red cabbage and onion. Fold it over and cook both sides, salting to tast. Once you believe the center is warm then place the quesadilla on your plate and add a big helping of Sour Cream. and eat up!

Best with dark beer.

I hope you like it!

Sounds good, Balrie. I just don't know if my stomach could handle the cabbage.

MMMM- we put cabbage in everything at our house. Tacos, all mexican type foods and even in our sandwiches instead of iceburg lettuce (crunch!)

I love sauteed cabbage with bowtie pastas, a light garlic butter/oil sauce and what ever seasonings/ fresh herbs on hand.

I bet fresh chopped cilantro would taste awesome in your cabbage quesadilla Balrie- goat cheese & sun dried tomatoes too would be great too MMMMMM

Can you tell it is almost lunchtime for me
