Talking Daisy Update

I'm happy to say that Daisy is doing much better and should be able to come home tonight. The Dr. said that her x-rays were clear, nothing stuck in her throat or lungs. She does have some congestion which they believe was caused by inhaling her food. She will have to take an antibiotic when she comes home. They are going to get another x-ray later this evening to make sure everything is a-okay.

Thanks for all your thoughts and support, it means a lot. I'm so happy she is okay!

Smile New Update....

Daisy is doing great, she isn't quite 100% yet but she will get there.
She has been resting well and eating like she has a hollow leg. :-) I'm having a hard time leaving her side...Every time she makes a noise while she's sleeping I about have a heart attack and have to check to see if she is still breathing! I'm sure it will take time for all of us to heal.

Thank you everyone for thinking about her, it helped me get through that first night. :-)

Glad to hear that Daisy is on the mend. These little pups are so resilient-before you know it, she'll be back to her nutty puppy self! I can understand your concern for her being heightened, it is so scary when you almost lose them! Please give her extra kisses from us-we are so happy for you that she is better!

Just give Daisy some time, you'll forget she was ever sick. She'll be back to her silly boxer self in no time. Lots more good thoughts going you're way and thanks for the update.

I'm glad to hear this. She will heal real quick. Will there be any long term affects? Whatever the outcome you will love her the same. Thx for update
