Question????

Hi we just pick up our puppy yesterday . Lola is her name .
we haven't had a puppy around here for awhile. I have a question she is six weeks old how much do puppies sleep? she plays a little bit and then sleep is this normal? She is our first boxer and I know that they are active.

When we got Jagger 3 weeks ago, he was 6 weeks also. He slept for about the first week and didnt do much else. Boy, what I'd give for one of those days again. <G> Just kidding. Don't worry, he is fine and just getting used to his surroundings also. Enjoy the down time...it won't last long.

Loads of sleep. Sounds like your pup is normal. Eat, sleep, poop, and play, just like a baby. In no particular order there, of course..

Mine still sleeps a lot, especially after playing, and shes over 1 yr old. She has to have several naps during the day, and I am sure she sleeps when no one is home too!

We bought Maya home last Sunday (7week old flashy fawn) and she slept a little and played a little and slept and played.............
She still does not sleep the full 8 hours, she will wake up in the middle (4am) of the night and want me to play with her....ugh..
She only sleeps max 4 hours per nap... My 10 week puppy slept throught the night with 2-3 naps during the day....
