What to do with her during the day

We have a 10 week female named Cali. I am a stay-at-home mom so I am around "most" of the time. I am struggling with how much I need to play with her. Her crate is in the kitchen and the kitchen is blocked off. She has too many accidents still to be allowed out of the kitchen during the day. Even if I am in the living room with her, out of nowhere she will squat and pee even if she had just been outside to pee 10 minutes before. So for that reason she is in the kitchen where it is easier to clean up. In the evening however, we have our mommy/puppy couch cuddle session when all the kids are in bed. So during the day she stays in the kitchen. Her toys are in there and her crate is open and I also have a small soft doggy bed that I keep on the floor. She loves laying on it. I feed her 4x per day and always take her out after she eats. She doesn't always poop, but usually pees. We go outside randomly throughout the day to let her run and pretty much destroy my garden But there are many times of the day when I cannot be entertaining her. IE, taking the kids to school/pick up, cooking a meal, laundry, bath time, quick run to Walmart. It seems like she goes down for a nap every 1-1.5 hours and usually sleeps for an hour. She sleeps great at night. Usually in crate by 10:30 and she gets up to pee between 3-4 and then up around 7'ish. I would love to bring her out in the living room more but it is always so stressful. She chases the kids and tries to bite them, she tries to eat whatever they are playing with at the moment. And I don't think it would be fair to not let them have any toys in the living room. They are young and I want to see what they are doing. So, does keeping her in the kitchen with a couple living room short play sessions and a lot of outside play sessions seem like enough. I mean I really do try to be with her as much as I can, but it is impossible to spend every waking moment with her. I read a lot of stuff on crate training and it always said to confine them to one area until they earn the right to get more access to the house. What do you all think?
