Calm before the storm??
Lola is my now 7 wk rescue. She has a goofy eye that the vet thinks was a puncture when she was fresh that never got attention. Her inner eyelid covers a part of the eye and it's milky, they think she can see pretty good shadow but that's it. I'm having it looked at again friday.
She is solidly housebroken in a week, she crate trained in 4 days, no accidents, no freaky behaviour, other than adorable puppy stuff. She puts herself in the crate after about an hour of play for about 2 1/2 hrs to snooze. She took to the collar and the leash without a hissy fit. She eats well, went from 4.9 lbs to 6.8 lbs in 7 days. She gently plays with the dogs and gently harrasses the cat. Hmmmm
She pees when and where she's supposed to and will run to the back door in the midst of a big play with the other dog or with my son and sit to be let out. She dashes out and has a pee and a poop and runs back to continue the game. Hmmm
She's happy and goofy and playful. She stops nipping when I say so, immediately and leaps off to find something else to do. Hmmmmm
She loves to cuddle and doze off in my arms ANYtime. Sure, she's young but I've had young ones like this before! She's the most amiable puppy I've ever met. Hmmmmm
Boxers can't POSSIBLY be this good!?!?! I've ALWAYS believed they were nuts from birth!! *hahaha* I'm SURE it's the calm before the storm...YIKES!!! ;-)
