Our first night home! (long)

Success!!! Paris did wonderfully last night, and she is absolutely adorable! I put her in the crate for the ride home and with traffic and weather it took us almost an hour and a half to get home. She never once cried or whined! When we got her home we introduced her to our house and their part of the yard. She quickly found "her spot" that she likes because everytime we take her out she goes to the same place.

I was going to crate her last night, but my husband wanted her in the bed with us. I was HORRIFIED! We just bought a new mattress and I didn't have a mattress protector yet. I told him that if she messed up the bed then he was going to have to figure out how to clean it However, she woke me up about 7 am by licking my face. I took her out and she went potty. I was soooo proud of her! Hopefully the training is that easy all the time (hey, a girl can hope right? )

I am going to figure out how to resize my pics and then hopefully we can post some for y'all. I can't believe I've waited this long to get a boxer, Paris is beautiful and sweet and we love her already!

How old is Paris? We get our pup in a few more weeks, he'll be closer to 11 weeks.

Sounds like all went well and you had a great first night! Can't wait to see the pix! And your husband does realize that Paris is now sleeping in your bed forever, right?
