How many grams of protien per day do you feed?

Conducting an little unofficial survey here...

How many grams of protien do your dogs eat per day? (If you're unsure of the protien values of the foods you feed your dogs, the usda website has a search engine that will give you complete nutrtional breakdown of pretty much any food out there: www.nal.usda.gov

I'm thinking of making my own dehydrated food, hence the research and nosy questions. I'm particularly interested in hearing from long-term BARFers and home cookers.

OK I will take a shot at this:

I feed Cab approx:

500g a day of chicken backs and necks a day

100g = 19.56g of protein

500g = 97.8 g of protein a day

Does this sound right?

Your math is right. Does your dog only eat chicken backs and necks? If not, you should include the protein amounts from other foods as well.

Veggie - Pumpkin, spinach,
Offal - liver, kidney
Sardine - Sardine
Other - Hamburger, yogart, egg

Since Cab get this over a weeks period I guess I will have to break it down.

Sunday
RMB - 97.8 g
Veggie - .75 g
Other - yogart - 3.78 g

Monday
RMB - 97.8g
Veggie - .75 g
Other - yogart - 3.78 g

Tuesday
Offal - 67.68 g
Other - yogart - 3.78 g

Wednesday
RMB - 97.8
Veggie - .75 g
Other - yogart - 3.78 g

Thursday
RMB - 97.8
Other - yogart - 3.78 g

Friday
Sardines - 49.24 g

Saturday
RMB - 97.8
Other - yogart - 3.78 g

Total per week = 630.85 g
Total per day = 90.12 g of protein

How's that. I didn't check the math.
