These past two weeks i have switched Avra's food from cooked to Barf very slooowly(she has sensitive stomach)
First i gave her raw eggs then grind red meat and today i gave her 4 chicken wings........it was so funny ....she didn't know what exactly were the wings

... she was licking and roll over the wings and looked at me and licking again ,it lasted about 5 minutes , but when i heard the first CRACK .....wow !!!she loved her food and ate the wings at once

and then was licking the floor and looked at me ......where is my food ???

That's great! My guys first time with raw food was very similar (he had chicken wings too).

The only difference was that he got very... excited (in the way that MALES do...)

The first time Lexi had wings she was play bowing with them and shaking them around in her mouth. She was funny. She would only play with them and wouldn't eat them. She had this look like "Okay mom this is fun but I'm hungry, where's my dinner". Once she had one, they rest were history!

Baxter had his first BARF meal tonight and loved it. He dove right into the bowl and never came out until the necks were gone

I didn't hear a peep out of him

Today Avra ate her food (chicken wings)very fast and then licked her bowl

...she loves her new diet and i feel soooo huppy

Aimee i hope Baxter goes very well too

The first time Rocks got wings it took him 45minutes to eat them which lasted about three days

He wanted to take them and bury them because they are so good I supposed. Then when he realized that was a no no he had to figure out how to eat them. He has gotten that down to a T, now it takes him five minutes to eat them.
