RAW Diet and Camping

Hi, we are taking a week long camping trip to Yosemite at the end of this month with our Boxer (Desmo) who is currently on the RAW diet. This is the first time we're camping since he's been on the RAW diet and I am not sure what to do. We also have to store any food in bear lockers. Does anybody have experience with camping and raw diet?

Commercial freeze-dried raw products are ideal for camping. You could probably bring the first couple of days worth of frozen raw meals from home with you as long as you could keep them in a cooler and then feed the freeze-dried for the rest of the trip.

I've used this company's freeze dried items before.

I used to pre bag the portions and freeze them. You can also freeze the pre portion bags in ice blocks to last longer.
