A new RAW Treat!
I just wanted to post this and get ya'll's opinions. A guy at work brought in a bag he found at a local discount grocer. He was so excited he found a treat for my dog's. He always brought in a treat every day until they went raw.
So, check it out. Not sure who carries it, but it looks to be a very good treat for us RAW feeders!!!

It'd be cool if we could see some ingredients...I also would like to know what "real meat flavor" means. lol

Well, I ran out and bought a bag (well, 25 of them!). If they aren't good treats, then I can always donate to the shelter.
Online price: $74.99 per case of 10, 3oz bags. Originally-99.90 per case. The reason I bought so many was they were only .99 each bag. What a deal! Now they did expire on May 31st......but I will freeze them til I open them to hopefully retain whatever freshness is left. LOL
Ok, so details from package:
It says:
Ingredients: salmon, beef. No Corn. No Wheat. No Soy.
The package says, All natural. Real beef and salmon. Treats are never processed or cooked....no artificial stuff (like colors, flavors or preservatives.) This product aligns with a raw foods diet.
Guarenteed analysis:
crude protein (min) - 50%
crude fat (min) - 20%
crude fiber (max) - 2%
moisture (max) - 5%
omega 3 fatty acids(min) - 3.5%
omega 6 fatty acids(min) - 0.75%
Taurine (min) - 0.15%
Feeding instructions....
5-20 lbs - 1-4 treats per day
20-50 lbs - 4-8 treats per day
50+ lbs - 8-12 treats per day
Also says: Wash hands after use. Treat as any other raw meat product.
I am hoping this is a good treat. I need alternatives to raw when training away from the house. At home, I use mini meatballs, and small chunks of beef. These treats are also big enough to cut in half to make training treats stretch.

Those don't look too bad at all. And you got a good deal! Are they dehydrated?

Yes, they are dehydrated nuggets the same size as those human snacks called Combo's.
I gave some to the dogs last night and well.............they went beserk!!! They absolutely loved them! So now I have a great training treat to use only for training. They will do anything for one.
I am gonna write the company and give them a Kudos for making a truly RAW treat! And a delicious one at that! And probably order them by the case now. My luck, they will discontinue them due to lack of interest.

Just an update: I wrote them with a testimonial of their great product and they are sending me a bag of each flavor in return!
I have to say, my dogs still crave these treats even after getting them every day! When I get the bag open, all three sit so good, waiting and actually drooling for that treat to come! Even Bella will sit, AND WAIT for it which is a miracle for her. She can never sit still for any food item. LOL
So, maybe if someone writes asking, they may get some sample bags. Well worth a minute of time.

Where did you buy these? I found dehydrated kangaroo treats for Rolen and he absolutely loves them, so I'd be interested in different meats. He'd do anything for the kangaroo! We can't even say the word without him running over to the closet to wait for a treat. It would be nice to have something a bit smaller for training.

I bought them at a local mennonite discount grocer. If you go to their site, you can do a search for a supplier within a mile search. I didn't have luck. You can also buy them by the case on their site and it's a better price too!

Treats
I ordered these and Baxter loves them. In fact, he'll do almost anything for them.
