our precious boy is with the angels

our beloved baby boy, morrissey, passed away on thursday morning, he had neurological damage and eventually couldn't get up atall, we had to hold his head so he could drink and eat the day before, we lay with him all night and knew we had to let him go the next morning. his daddy was with him when he went to the angels and he had his favorite frisbee and blanket with him. i absolutely know it was time but it hurts so badly, our hearts are broken. he brought us so much happiness, he was such a clown, so full of energy and a true buddy, he loved his long walks everyday and playing with everyone. we miss him so much it hurts so much. i can't see his face anymore, knowing that he is okay now brings a little help to us, that's what i have to keep thinking, i cry going to sleep and cry waking up, he is gone.
we adopted him at 18 months old and he turned 11 in feb, he was such a good boy.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Morrissey. Now he can run free and enjoy everlasting health. I, too, just lost my sweet boy Red a few weeks ago to lymphoma. The pain is overwhelming, but knowing you did the right thing and that you helped your baby let go of the pain will hopefully be of some comfort. Red is waiting for him at the bridge and I'm sure they are already playing together! May your heart find healing and your soul find peace.

Rest easy knowing your Morrissey is running pain-free at the bridge and no longer dealing with his problems. He is able to play with his friends and feel no pain now. Sounds like Morrissey had a wonderful life with you and your DH. May godspeed you sweet Morrissey, our newest boxer angel

Goddess speed sweet baby....

It has been less than 3 weeks since we had to let our baby go. I haven't been back to the boards in over a week, because it hurts still. I'm so sorry for your loss. Cherish all the sweet memories and know he is not in pain any longer. I'm sure Sam was there to meet him. She always thought everything, everyone, was put here for her to play with. I imagine where they are now, it is no different. Take comfort in all the words of these kind people. I did.
