i meant to comment about the rainbow bridge poem. i lost one of my granddaughters to leukekmia 2 years ago this april. she was quite an animal lover...took in all kinds of
strays and abused animals/ she had hope to become a lawyer
and make money to go to the humane society or to help abused
animals or to help people get their animals spayed or
neutered. of course, she didn't live to see any of this
\happen....she would always take in probably the ugliest and
most abused animals and nurse them back to health. i would
like to suggest to all that in memory of katrina and all of the special pets everywhere that you make a donation to your local humane society for the purpose of helping the disabled or elderly get their friends fixed. thank you all so much in her name.

I am so sorry to hear about your granddaughter. I'm sure she would be very proud and appreciative of your post regarding her love for animals. I'm glad you're trying to keep her dreams of helping animals alive. God Bless.
