I will remember and love you forever Xena
Xena passed away today after being diagnosed with pnemonia on Friday. She had been on antibiotics for 10 days for bronchitis and got worse. Watching her trying to breath was very difficult for us all in our family. We just thought that she would survive this since last year she had a benign tumor removed from her bladder and despite being almost 12 she still ran and played with Buster our other 5 year old boxer. She was a fighter and this has left us in shock. She did not eat all day yesterday despite me offering her everything I could think of.
My heart is heavy with sadness and pain for the loss of my sweet Xena bun. I miss her so much and thank God for the 8 years of love and joy she gave me and my family. She died with us at home of a heart attack I assume. She was kind, gentle, loving and sweet and we will miss her forever. Run free my sweet baby girl and we will meet up on the other side my beautiful girl. We love you.

I am so sorry to hear about your baby. Knowing they are older doesn't make it any easier.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know your heart is aching. It will take time, but at some point the memories will bring smiles instead tears. RIP Xena.

Thank you all for your support and for caring.
All of you are very special and your kind words mean a lot to me and my family. Words cannot begin to describe our love for Xena and how honored and grateful we are to have had her in our lives. We will honor her memory and miss her everyday. Thank God we still have Buster who misses her terribly.
