Rebel
So being new to this site I had no idea the love of all Boxer owners. We got our first boxer Rebel in 1997, and new nothing about boxer breed, but knew thats what we wanted not knowing the love, loyalty, intellengence, and companionship of such a wonderful friend. Rebel bought joy to everyone, not just our family but from friends and people we didn't even know. He would lay in the driveway watching cars go by and some would even stop in just to admire his beauty. Rebel never met a stranger. In 2010 we noticed a lump in his jaw and took him to the vet to have it removed....it was cancerous and in a few months he lay down and went to sleep never to awake again. It was devasting to us all and a long time for each of us to heal. This year my husband presented with a new boxer addition to the family. He is a male brindle named Toby. Toby is 15 weeks now and has so many similarities to Rebel, in the things he does, and acts. Toby by no means replaces Rebel be he does show us that our hearts can be mended. I hope that Rebel has found many friends at Rainbow bridge and is having the time of his life.
