I miss him so much

It will be a week tomorrow since we lost Buddy. I cannot stop crying I am so depressed I miss him so much. Everything in my house reminds me of him. it's so quiet now he was a barker and our 9 month old doesn't bark it's just so different without him. He was my everything. Does it ever get easier? I miss him more and more every day.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of Buddy.
Next week marks the one year anniversary of losing my girl Cami.
To be honest it hasn't gotten easier for me. There is a difference though in the way that I am able to handle the intense sadness. I suppose that is the only thing that is better. Their losses are devastating and for whatever reason we somehow learn to keep functioning.
I wasn't able to take it day by day for a while so had to be thankful to get through each minute.
From one broken heart to another I wish you peace. You are not alone.

We got a new Pomeranian and even, I will do anything if I were able to bring her back, the new puppy easy the pain a little bit.
I will keep you in my prayers, and I honestly very sorry,

I am so very sorry for your loss of Buddy. I understand and feel your pain. I lost my girl 10 weeks ago and it is still very difficult. I feel like a part of me died with her. I wish I had the right words to say. People say it gets better with time, but I haven't felt that yet. You are definitely not alone. I wish you peace and comfort.

I'm SO sorry. You will probably always miss him. Hopefully all the funny memories will take over and sustain you through the loss. Best to you!

I am so sorry for your loss. It never really gets easier, but time heals some of the wounds. It will hurt less as time goes on, but you will never forget him or his place in your heart. Let him go however you can and remember all the GOOD that he gave you!

I am so sorry for you loss and I know how hard it is. We just lost our 18 year chow mix this past December and I never thought it would be this hard. They are such a big part of daily lives and it feels so empty when you don't hear their tags clicking together or feel their wet noses on your calf. I am still going through the grieving process but I will share one of the things that I do that helps me is when I feel sad or just want to think about him, (like every night) I light a candle on my fireplace mantel beside Max's ashes. Somehow this make me feel close. Hang in there and celebrate his life. Tears are okay.

still Sad

Thank you all for your kind words it really does make me feel better. I know I will be okay and I knew what the outcome of his cancer would be. He was only given 4-6 months to live and he made it 10 months. We are lucky for that. If he would've lived to be 10 or 12 it still wouldn' t be long enough. we haven't gotten his ashes yet we think we will feel better once we get them. a weird thing happened last week my boyfriend and I heard nails going down the halll and you cannot hear Tanks when he walks but they sounded like Buddys

sorry to hear about Buddy. I try to recall the special moments my Zeus brought me to help ease his loss just two days ago. Cherish the memories and never forget great times you shared.
