Gus- 01/21/98 - 11/04/09
Gus had his Xrays today around 5:00 today. His lungs were full of fluid. He had about 15% lung capacity. His abdomen was full of fluid. His trachea was severely bent due to either a large tumor or enlarged heart. Vet said that the seizures he had had over the past few months were most likely the start of cancer. We believe the cancer spread from there. We made the very hard and painful decision to let him go. You were with us nearly 12 yrs old boy. Go now and run free with Indigo at the bridge. No more arthritis, no more pain at all. Your mom's love you and will never forget you. Thank you for your love and devotion to our family.

My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry about Gus. I'm sure he had a very loving life. Now he is not suffering anymore. Hard as it was, you did the right thing. God bless you and Gus. Run free at the bridge Gus and the angels watch over you.

So sorry for your loss of Gus. He is now pain free at the bridge, running and playing and enjoying all his new friends.
You have 12 years of beautiful memories to look back on and remember your boy. Godspeed sweet Gus.

I am so sorry you lost Gus. He sounds like he was a very special boy and he will live on in your hearts forever. Rest in peace sweet boy.
