Sammy at the bridge
I can't believe my little girl is gone. It all happened so fast. Last week we had her at the vet with some minor symtoms of "maybe" something neurological going on. Saturday night I heard her wimper and found her stumbling around on the bed. She had a loss of balance, but still seemed "with it". By the next morning she was stumbling in circles to the left, with a head tilt. We met our vet at his office. He looked her over and ended up giving her of shot of valuim and told us it was probably a leison on her brain. Monday she was much better, but very weak. The vet ran more tests, bloodwork etc. nothing conclusive. Monday night she had another episode. We made the decision to send our little one to the bridge at 3:00 am Tuesday morning. My heart is broken, we miss her so much. Duke is trying to make us laugh with his silly antics and it's helping. I'm sure Rock was waiting there to greet her and show her the ropes. Before long Sammy will rule the bridge-that's the kind of dog she was!

I am so sorry for your loss. But Sammy is happy and free from the scarey things that happened the last few days. I'm sure that Rock was waiting to show her around.

I am so sorry for the loss of Sammy....breaks my heart too. I am sure she is running happy, free, not a care in the world at the bridge with her friends now. God bless Sammy...

I am sorry for your loss of Sammy. The hardest part is watching our strong Boxers struggle when they are sick. Your decision to let her go was made with love.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Godspeed sweet Sammy.
