Thanks for all the kind words. I miss my little girl so much. I know time will help. Duke has become so spoiled since Sammy's death. It is the first time in 9 1/2 years that we have had only one dog, so Duke gets everything he wants and more.

So sorry! These stories always make me teary-eyed. I've been in your shoes and know I'll have to face it again someday. It's so hard to let go of these wonderful companions.

I have tears streaming down my face...I'm so, so sorry for what you are going through right now...to see these beautiful, loyal, strong creatures falter is heartbreaking, but to make the decision you did -- the bravest and most unselfish thing you've ever done for her...most of us know how it feels to lose our boxer babies, but only you know how it feels to lose Sammy. I'm so, so sorry -- you and Sammy are in my prayers...as is Duke (it can be very, very hard and confusing for the pups left behind).
