A sign of a true friend is the ability to make the hardest possible decision when the time comes, your Sash was lucky to have such a good home.

The one thing that helped a little when my Lucygirl went to rainbow bridge was that I wrote down everything about her. Years later, I can look back and remember her moments, quirks and how fun we had.

I am so sorry for your loss. The love that you had for Sasha is so wonderful and she loved you right back! I know what you are experiencing about bringing a new member into the family after you have suffered a loss. We lost Porter this summer and a month and a half later we found a beautiful little boy to be part of our family. He will never be Porter (who I think of every day and my heart aches for him to come back) but we are able to love another Boxer and give a "brother" to our girl, Scota.

Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time and as you journey forward without Sasha but perhaps to find another "baby" to be loved by you and your family.

Your post brought tears to my eyes. It is so hard to lose these fur babies.
Your decision to let her go was made out of love.
I believe that when you get another boxer, Sasha will wave her little nub tail at the Bridge for she will always want you to be happy.
And what can make you happier than another boxer to love.

My deepest condolences to you all. It seems like you are starting to feel a little better about it now, and just know that your sweet girl is happy and pain-free at the bridge.
