Bless you all yet again.....i've been getting there, i live in a small villiage where everyone knows Monty....i also work in the village Post Office so i've been trying to keep a stiff upper lip as people who know or dont know whats happened ....either offer their condolances or ask me ...wheres your beautiful boy?
Today was harder than I thought it would be....i've not seen Sophie his sister since he died...monty and i spent his last weekend with Sophie as my sister was away in Ireland, even when he could not get up he still boxed her with his front paws and they play fought together......well today i had a day off work and went to see her....she barked when she saw me, gave me a quick lick then shot out of the door looking for Monty...she kept running backwards and forwards looking for him, then put her nose to the ground sniffing all the way to the gate finally i guess realising he wasnt with me. that really hit home for me...she loved him to bits...she hates other dogs...wont tolerate them...i just hope she will eventually accept he is no longer there ...cant bear her to be distressed too....going to pick up Monty's ashes tomorrow...glad to be bringing my lovely lad home at last...thanks again for all your kind messages

Hi Sue,

I am so very sorry to hear about Monty's passing. Its been such a long time since we last spoke. The circumstances Monty went.... were exactly the same as my Missy Ginty.... even to having to have the ambulance ..... There is no doubt that there will be one very Happy girl on Rainbow Bridge ...I bet Missy Ginty wont be able to contain herself.... with lots of kissing and boxing her long standing friend Sweet Monty.
So sorry to have to hear from you in these circumstances .... I am now owned by a sweet little 10 year old ... named Saska, not the handsome girl Ginty was and only a tiny wee girl.... but her heart is big, and she has now become my shadow.... following me everywhere.

RIP sweet Monty.
