Wish us luck tomorrow at the oncologist. I don't think the tumor has grown but it has not gotten any smaller either. I am a little worried because he is taking prednisone along with the palladia but he hasn't had any of the predinsone side effects like drinking a ton of water, excess peeing or increase appetite? He's been pretty normal considering. Something to discuss tomorrow. I know I hate leaving him there but they want to do the blood work and testing to make sure all is well before they let him go so if he needs some other treatment he's there and it can be taken care of right away. I'm trying to keep postive thoughts....

It's so hard to keep those bad things from creeping into your mind but keep your chin up - we are all sending only good healthy thoughts to you and Indy. I know it's hard to leave him there but think about how happy he will be to see you when you pick him up!

Just spoke to the oncologist. Not bad or good?? The tumor went down a SMALL amount. She said we may be at the end of the effectiveness of the Palladia. We are going to medicate for another week and cut the prednisone in half and see how things are progressing. I'm not sure how I feel but blessed for each day that we have him.

Well, it may not be very good news, but at least its not very bad news....and the tumour has shrunk a little bit. The oncologist said that the Palladia MAY have stopped working, but they don't know for sure right? How are the lymph nodes?

We will continue to keep Indy in our prayers and thougts so he can continue to fight this.

Let's just say it's good news since it did shrink at least a little. So does this drug only work for a short period of time? Seems odd but I certainly have no experience with canine cancer and hope to keep it that way. But you are right, every day with Indy is a blessing. I'm sure he thinks the same about your family.

Original lymph node is the same size, the one I felt that was smaller is gone!! Dr. told me if this is the best that we get with the Palladia she's happy. Guess I am too since the tumor is half the size it was. Trust me we will take whatever we can get on the good side. We'll keep fighting!!
