I love the quote, its perfect. After taking care of a terminally ill dog there is such a huge gap and what seems like so much spare time. Silly me, my way of dealing with it was to get a puppy to keep myself busy! I don't regret it now but boy looking after the pup made taking care of Jack look like a piece of cake! Hope you're feeling a little better each day. My heart goes out to you.

I can't believe yesterday was a month. Our hearts are still broken but we are getting better ever day. I have to tell a strange/funny story. I woke up in the middle of the night Sunday to Monday to the horrible smell of boxer gas.... Right out of a sound sleep. I truly believe that there are spirits around. I feel my dad still 8 years later. I am glad Indy came to visit but he didn't need to wake me up that way....

I'm sure it was Indy checking in with you and making sure you hadn't forgotten about him. How funny that he chose that way to send you a sign. I hope you find comfort in knowing that even though he isn't with you physically, he is still full of life on the other side of the bridge.
