Wishing you all good thoughts.
So sorry to hear that your baby hasn't had better results. Hopefully the vet will find out some new medication at this conferance. It certainly sounds like you have a vet that is very focused on helping Indy. Your plans to enjoy each day is the best you can do. I'm sure inspite of everything that Indy is still feeling loved and protected and in spite of everything he is going through there are probably only positive thoughts and feelings in his heart from all you do for him. Keep loving and enjoying him, and I'll continue to send good vibes and hopes for some good news soon.

I am so sorry. I know how much he means to you just from your posts. You will have the strength today, because you have been showing your strength all through Indy's journey with this terrible disease. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Today we lost the battle. I helped Indy go at noon today. He had it rough for the past 2 nights and this morning for the first time he was not my happy boy. He told me he was ready. I am amazed at how quickly his cancer progressed once he stopped taking the medication. All of his lymph nodes were filling and he was having a hard time breathing. We couldn't bear the thought of him suffering. I am still numb. I've been wandering around the house picking up all the memories of him.
We are blessed to have him for as long as we did and amazed at the medication that helped him have a quailty of life for months longer than expected. Our hope is the data collected from his experience will help the next dog with their cancer and maybe help further the science so we can overcome this disease.
I want to thank everyone for all of the love, thoughts and prayers. I am blessed to have you all in my life. It gets me thru these days.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I am glad Indy enjoyed the last few months & that he didn’t suffer long. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that you fought when it was appropriate & then gave him peace when the time was right. You did everything right for Indy & you were both lucky to have each other. Working in rescue I see so many crappy dog owners that I sometimes loose faith in people. Indy’s story gives me inspiration & reminds me that there are good caring people that understand how special these boxers are.
Run free Indy…you can play with your basketball now.

My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. Please accept my deepest condolences. Boxers are far more intelligent than people often give them credit for and I'm sure Indy knew you did everything in your power to help him. May the beautiful memories you shared with sweet Indy comfort you at this time and may you rest easier at night knowing that your baby isn't suffering anymore. God bless you, Indy.
