Riggs July 12, 1998- June 20,2009

Our very good friends lost their beautiful boxer boy Riggs this past Saturday. DH and I have known Riggs since he was a 12 week old pup; he was our good friend too. When living in Indiana we often visited Riggs just for play dates, remembered him on holidays and his birthday. We took our boy Petey to play in his large fenced yard and often treated with Frosty Paws after a romp iin the yard. Those were some very good times.

We were visitng in Indy this past weekend, and saw Riggs Friday night. He was a handsome silver boy now, still lots of energy. He had had some seizures and other health problems. We stopped by mid morning Saturday so our friends could meet Autry. Riggs was introduced to Autry and he seemed excited. The boys, now off leash, ran for about 30 seconds and Riggs collapsed, his legs giving out. We were unable to revive him.

Run free beautiful boy. You are missed by all of us.

What a sad loss. Run Free Riggs!

On a side note.........he crossed the bridge doing the happiest thing a dog can do.....chase and play with another doggy.

I'm sure Pete was right there at the bridge, ready to welcome Riggs and show him around.

Rest in Peace Riggs.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Riggs.
It sounds like he lived a great life with a good family.
My sympathies go out to you as I know that even when they are not part of our immediate family, they are still like family.
Please let your friends know that their BW friends are thinking of them (and you) during this difficult time.
Godspeed sweet Riggs.
