Aldo is sleeping forever
My sweet older boxer is sleeping in our garden forever. ( He was 14 old years (it's wonderful!) and he had lymphoma and tumor in his honeycomb. There were several metastasis in his body. Doctor said, Aldo would live til max. 6 month but he lived til 1 WEEK only! He choked from the tumor very much. My husband and I had to decide to let him go. (( So we asked doctor to help Aldo. It was terrible but it was a must.
I planted flowers to him to his sepulcher and several times talk with him. His photo is the wallpaper in our monitor and mobil.
We loved him very-very much.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your husband, I am so sorry you had to say farewell to your Beloved Aldo. It is very hard to make that decision, but we do when we love our dearest friends so much and know they are suffering. It is such a blessing that you and Aldo shared 7 wonderful years together. In time, the special memories you made together will be a comfort to you. I keep you and your husband in my prayers, and wish your dear angel Aldo, Godspeed.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family over your loss of Aldo. You were truly blessed to have him for 14 years and I'm sure that made it even harder to let him go. I think that is the first time I've ever heard of a boxer living that long. He is now free of pain and running free. I've read that a dog's spirit goes straight to heaven and they watch over us from there. Rest in peace sweet Aldo. Hugs to you both.

You all are very kind, thank you for your sympathy.
Aldo was a great and good-tempered dog. I know he had a special emanation because when we took him to live with us our adult cat nestle to him next day.
He was a beautiful boy with good condition til the very end. But he was sleeping much by reason of his age. I think this disease was very aggressive. I have an other boxer (7 years old fawn boy - a clown) and there was an affray between them in Christmas time. And Aldo was the top dog at the end!
We built a house last autumn and I'm very happy that Aldo could move with us to his new home in January.
