Wow. I'm so sad for you. That is just awful. I happen to know exactly how you feel. 2 days after your 5 year old passed, mine followed him. She was just about the same age. Maybe they're both hanging out now. All the things you listed that you missed so much (like the swirls on the butt) I miss also. It is empty here but I'm trying to focus on the happy times and the fact that we shared 5.5 years of happiness together. She truly had a great life, although it was cut far too short.
BW definitely helps with healing, more so than most of my friends do. I think people here understand how significant some of our relationships to our Boxers were. They are really like little people to us. I hope you are feeling better now. I feel like I am. I go into lapses of depressions throughout the day, but they seem to be getting less frequent.

I am so sorry for your loss. They fill our hearts with love and then, when they are gone, there is a hole left behind. I hope that in time you will remember all the good times you had together.
