I had a good day with sammy. Giving him lots of TLC. Feeling very sad and very lonely, even with people here, its still lonely. Its a lovely place on boxerworld that I can come and gather my thoughts.

Brenda, Im so sorry to hear about both your losses. It really does break my heart. I cannot stop sobbing right now. With each post I read........I just wish I could reach out and give ya a big hug. Losing such a wonderful and loving companion can really do a number on a person. Im still feeling the affect(after almost 3.5 months)..........and I think I always will. Some days are okay, others not-so-okay. But ya just gotta learn to take it one day at a time. That's what Im trying to do. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Glad you and Sammy had a nice day-you and Sammy will be good medicine for each other. It is a sad time and I think you just need to mourn all your losses Brenda. I think of you so often, and of your Jake. If a lot of good thoughts are helpful then you have a lot of help coming your way. God Bless

hi to everyone, again thanks for all the lovely messages.
Sammy is doing ok. Going to Vet with him tomorrow for a checkup as I am just so nervous something will happen him.Hes getting spoiled rotten. Jake is gone 8 days now and the pain is still here, missing him

That emptiness will be there for a long while, and a little bit always. But brighter days will come for you and Sammy. Having him vet checked will make you feel better and remember, Sammy will be fine as he has his boxer angel brother looking out for him. Take care Brenda

Feeling a little better this morning... I could sense Jake with me all day yesterday. It was a lovely feeling.
Sammy is still very sad so we have made a big decision to get a new baby for him to mind and play with. After speaking to our Vet and between eachother a boxer puppy is the right move.

We are going to get a male in a few weeks from a new litter. They are all too cute! We have chosen a name "Harry"... i.e. When HArry met Sammy!

LAst night I gave Sammy a hug and asked him did he want a new little brother he barked!!! it was a big yes.

I also lit a candle for mam and jake yesterday. They are minding sammy in spirit when I am in work
